She had succeeded very early in life, and by the age of 33, it seemed she had everything. However, achieving success so early and easily made her extremely reckless and aggressive in business. Her ego grew increasingly arrogant. At its peak, greed took over, and there was nothing she wouldn’t dare to do. She engaged in dishonest business practices, producing counterfeit branded goods with massive profits.
She also traded watermelon seeds, switching Grade 2 seeds that looked good into Grade 1 to sell at higher prices. That wasn't all; during that time, she even dared to borrow high-interest loans for investment, growing more ambitious and investing more and more.
At that point, she never thought about spiritual practice or leaving virtue for her children. She was just obsessed with making money, disregarding everything else. Back then, she was consumed by arrogance, thinking, "I have money, I have power," oppressing and humiliating others significantly.
A few years later, her son fell ill. The boy developed a tumor behind his neck and temporal lobe cortical dysplasia. She spent an unimaginable amount of money and used every connection she had to get him the best treatment.
The dishonest money she earned eventually went to two years of treatment for her son. When his condition stabilized, hers began to deteriorate. She contracted a blood virus and spent over a year living more in Saigon than at home. Eventually, the money ran out, her health worsened, and she was left with debt. During this time, she tried to stay positive, thinking she was luckier than others because she still had money for treatment.
Later, she was hit hard, losing around 600 million VND in a business scam. She had to scramble to manage the situation, accumulating debt upon debt—all borrowed money. Often, she was so desperate that she resorted to high-interest loans through mobile apps. Her business stagnated; some months, she could only manage a few orders.
When she found Thủy, it was through an online introduction from an acquaintance to get a reading to see when she might escape her situation. At that time, everything seemed like a dead end.
She had lost the trust of her husband and children. The debt made everyone feel unsafe around her, and they were cautious about money matters. She felt deeply hurt. She used to blame her parents for not helping her during hard times. Now, she was utterly exhausted and drained, often wishing she could win the lottery to ease her mind.
Her in-laws messaged her, pressuring her to divorce. Her brother-in-law called, accusing her of burdening her husband and telling her to let him go. Hurtful words came from her mother-in-law, her own mother, and the family. She, once proud of being financially stable, now bore the shame of being ruined by money. Financial worries consumed her mind, filling her with anxiety. She bought two bottles of pesticide, not wanting to burden others anymore, but she couldn’t summon the courage to drink them.
She tried hard to balance her emotions but found it incredibly difficult. Her mind was constantly preoccupied with money. Between her and her husband, there was always an invisible barrier. Before meeting Thủy, she took 40 sleeping pills but was saved in time. She didn't know why, but three times, she failed to meet Thủy—there were always sudden meetings or urgent matters to handle. Finally, on the fourth attempt, they met.
She used to have inner conflicts, thinking that her problems were due to a lack of money, which caused her family to turn against her completely. Suddenly, she became a burden. She felt saddened that all her efforts to earn money before were out of a desire to give her family a better life. Initially, she blamed her relatives a lot, but in the end, she realized she couldn’t expect them to shoulder her burdens. She could only cry.
She was diagnosed with herniated discs in four cervical vertebrae, causing spinal stenosis. Her physical health plummeted uncontrollably. She discovered more and more illnesses, one after another. Doctors recommended surgery for a thyroid tumor, but she couldn’t afford it.
Now, another virus was attacking her. Doctors said it was targeting her throat and could reach her heart. She was diagnosed with multinodular goiter, with one calcified nodule at grade 4. Words could no longer describe her situation.
Previously, thanks to her younger sister’s guidance, she started exploring Buddhism, reciting the Great Compassion Mantra, and listening to Dharma talks. This reduced her arrogance somewhat. She admitted that failure also played a role in making her more humble.
“There were times when I messaged, saying I couldn’t persevere, Thủy. Many times, I wanted to text you but feared bothering you. The debt has drained me. I’ve made my family and many others suffer, and I’ve lived wrongfully towards so many people. I don’t know how much longer I can endure; I just keep crying. I don’t have money to treat my illnesses, and the debt keeps haunting me. The tipping point came when creditors started storming my house, shouting and causing chaos. It was the final straw for my husband. My youngest child is three years old but still doesn’t speak, and I don’t even have the money to get him checked.”
She admitted that to be fair, the creditors were lenient initially, agreeing to installment payments. But somehow, she couldn’t even manage the smallest obligations. Losses piled up, and customers disappeared.
She even considered selling mixed rice paper or sugarcane juice, doing anything to make money. However, due to repeatedly breaking promises and blaming circumstances, creditors became angry. She felt ashamed of her deceitfulness, carrying a heavy conscience. Now, no one would lend her even a million VND, fearing she wouldn’t repay. It was that dire.
Virtue in Business Conduct
Sounds like drama, doesn’t it?
Every life is a story, and only those who live it truly understand it. Despite the psychological changes through different phases, there is always a clear positive transformation. This highlights that inner growth often arises from overcoming significant challenges.
Especially in this era, virtue should be prioritized in business conduct. Entrepreneurs often operate heavily through the energy of the fifth chakra (associated with speech and communication).
This throat chakra functions as a channel for transmitting positive messages to the outside world—sharing with others the moral lessons and good things learned in life, while especially ensuring the truthfulness of information.
However, many people rely on their speaking abilities to manipulate others, exploiting psychological tactics to achieve their own goals, thus allowing greed, anger, and ignorance to grow within them.
For this woman’s case, I once advised her to speak less, as her energy flow was misaligned—speaking more only led to greater misunderstandings. The simple reason is that up to now, she has conveyed false information, deceiving and defrauding others, causing financial harm and disrupting families over money issues.
With such negative energy flows, they rebound like a counterforce. Persevering and drawing lessons from these experiences is the fastest way to overcome them. She is doing well in this regard. Although her psychological state is complex, it is moving in a positive, upward direction.
During meditation, she experiences shortness of breath, as current pressures weigh heavily on her heart. However, she has managed to let go of certain burdens and started viewing her situation more positively.
The only unresolved issue lies with her mother-in-law, who has disowned her. She has begun to accept her circumstances more, instead of wishing for a lottery win or considering death as an escape from her situation.
The Three Forces in This Case
Physical Force
The core lesson revolves around steadfastness and resilience—acting decisively and having firm principles. Calmness, honesty, reliability, caution, and patience are needed to overcome challenges.
However, she has been misaligned in learning this energy lesson. Her lack of steadiness led her to be swayed by greed. She failed to remain calm, resulting in unethical business practices and dishonesty with her partners and customers. Instead of exhibiting resilience and strength, she showed traits of stubbornness and rigidity, believing she was always right.
Thus, failure is necessary to halt her and prompt reflection, reevaluation, and careful consideration before taking further action. Only by looking at everything clearly can she pave a brighter path ahead.
Due to her lesson in steadfastness, her mind is greatly unsettled when facing conflict and stress. The essence of this lesson is to learn how to maintain calmness, control emotions, and respond to situations more composedly.
She belongs to the "Giáp" heavenly stem, which is strong and daring. She is confident in her abilities, unafraid of challenges, and persistent in achieving her goals. However, she struggles to recognize her mistakes and rarely heeds others' advice.
Her intense focus on goals leaves her without the necessary planning and flexibility for unforeseen challenges. She sets high standards, which sometimes lead to over-ambition and unchecked greed, resulting in unethical business conduct and disregard for others' feelings.
Her decisiveness and ambition often create conflict and friction with others. Believing in her talent and financial prowess, she imposes pressure on others.
Energetic Force
Her dominant energy element is Metal, symbolizing decisiveness, efficiency, and unwavering resolve, unaffected by external influences.
While Metal energy embodies honesty and fairness, greed has led her to overlook ethics and morality. Initially, her actions appeared smooth, but disorder eventually emerged.
Her strong belief in her abilities and intellect makes her less affected by emotions, displaying coldness and insufficient care for others' feelings.
She imposes pressure on herself by setting high expectations for financial success and wealth, creating her own burdens. When things don’t meet her standards, she grows impatient, seeking shortcuts and falling into improper methods or paths.
Inner Force
The frequency of 175 represents pride, bringing a sense of self-respect from accomplishments and confidence in one’s abilities. In reality, she has succeeded and created significant material wealth.
This sense of pride drives her to continue striving for greater achievements, encouraging diligence and effort. She enjoys being recognized and takes satisfaction and pride in what she has built.
However, she is vulnerable to criticism or failure, reacting strongly and negatively when feeling insulted. Excessive pride can lead to arrogance and a lack of humility, looking down on others and rejecting different viewpoints.
She envies others' success, and her high level of pride diminishes empathy, making it hard for her to understand others' emotions.
