Self Awareness

Is society in chaos, or is it because human hearts are in turmoil?

One day, we’ll realize that everyone who crosses our path is good in their own way. After all, they stood by us even when we were far from perfect. We needed each other at that time to learn certain lessons. Once their role in our life is complete, they move on—simple as that! Then, we meet new people and encounter new lessons.

Perhaps in this era of 4.0, we’ve been exposed, consciously or unconsciously, to an overwhelming flow of information, making us feel burdened and anxious in this modern world.

What is love that it drives someone to coldly end a girlfriend’s life so quickly?
Foam boxes, cement, and the perception that "people who wear glasses are often dangerous." A whole new set of prejudices surfaces in our minds, feeding our daily fears.

We no longer dare to love or trust in love!

But there’s another perspective to consider:

  • Some are drawn to those significantly older or younger, bridging age gaps of 20–30 years, defying societal norms for the sake of love.
  • Some men, after over a decade of marriage, realize they need surgery to become "sisters" to their wives. Or in old age, they understand that they need a man to protect them, not a woman.
  • A man once tearfully confessed his dilemma: he caught his wife cheating, but her lover was another woman. How was he supposed to confront this?

Many comments cry out, "What kind of love is this? Has the world gone mad?"

And what about spirituality?

There was a monk who walked to practice mindfulness, wanting to feel every sensation through his body. Suddenly, he was labeled by some as a saint or a deity, while others tried to discredit him, fearing the loss of their own interests.

Surely, he only needed to say, “I’m just an ordinary person, taking my time, living off one simple meal a day.”

The truth is,

Humans are continually evolving in consciousness. We must strive to be better, whether you believe it or not!

During the Buddha’s time, the collective consciousness was only around 90. Fear, ignorance, and suffering piled upon suffering, driving people to do anything to feel safe—even sacrificing young women to a deity they believed would protect them. They were blind, lost, and desperately needed a guiding star to show them the way. Then came someone who illuminated their path, not with supernatural powers as myths suggested, but with teachings to end their suffering.

When Jesus Christ was born, human consciousness was filled with unparalleled greed. People craved power, wealth, and desires, trampling over one another to survive. Yet, even when nailed to the cross, He forgave them endlessly, saying, “Do not blame them, for they know not what they do. Please save them.”

Are you truly practicing the teachings of your faith?

  • If you call yourself a Buddhist, are you following the Dharma to train your body, mind, and spirit?
  • If you’re a follower of Christ, are you embodying His compassion and forgiveness?

If not, what is the purpose of your religion?

And what about today?

Our consciousness has rapidly advanced over centuries, spreading more evenly across humanity. We no longer look to a savior or someone with miraculous powers because our egos have grown too large. Human intelligence is exceedingly logical, and we’re surrounded by countless online philosophers, all skilled at presenting and defending their arguments. Discussing philosophy today might even intimidate ancient sages.

We’re now operating at a more refined, subtle energetic state—light, delicate, and with rapid energy exchange. We’re learning and growing faster through life’s lessons.

  • Some teach us strength and decisiveness.
  • Others teach us compassion.
  • Some guide us toward peace amidst the storm.
  • And then there are those who offer profound advice to help us navigate our challenges.

But do we notice? Are we sensitive enough to recognize their kindness, or are we quick to judge because of our own deep-seated prejudices? Not every act of love or care needs to be gentle and sweet like honey. Sometimes, raising one’s voice or being firm is the only language someone can understand.

Have we realized this, or are we still searching for lofty philosophies or miracles? Consciousness reflects the heart; actions and words are secondary.

  • What is the intention behind the action?
Someone may seem cheerful and kind, but inside, they harbor malice and ill will. What are you projecting into the world?

Much of what happens now is simply to teach us the lessons we need to grow faster within this lifetime. There won’t be a long-haired old man handing out divine powers. The world you see reflects the consciousness of each individual.

Eventually, you’ll realize that even teachers and people have their own dualities—no one is purely this or that. The only thing you can truly change is yourself.

Face reality.
Assess your capacity and energy accurately.

KINDNESS – AWARENESS – REFINEMENT

16

Start by being KIND. Accept that you’re not perfect, that you’ve made mistakes, and take responsibility. Fix one thing at a time each day, so at least you can start planting seeds of goodness.

When kindness is abundant, AWARENESS emerges. You’ll naturally sense where you belong, the right people for you, and the lessons you need to learn. Everything will unfold like a web we call destiny.

And then comes REFINEMENT—a heightened sensitivity, an ability to perceive energy, karma, and flaws you once couldn’t see in yourself. Your intuition reaches new levels, often mistaken for divine powers like seeing past lives, healing, or granting blessings.

The issue isn’t the teachers; it’s the varied layers of consciousness spread out for us to learn from in this fast-paced life. We feel overwhelmed because we keep searching for something elusive instead of recognizing the lessons and divine presence in those around us.

All spiritual practices—astrology, numerology, energy studies—are tools to understand where we are on this journey and how to evolve.

If your kindness is superficial, everything remains on the surface. Even if you study ancient texts, you’ll only grasp their most literal meanings, unable to delve into subtle or profound depths.

A restless, unrefined mind wavers, hindered by emotions. And with every unsettling news story we read, we feed our fear and insecurity.

Which is true? Which is false?

Ultimately, we’ll realize that everyone who comes into our life is good in their way, standing by us during our imperfect moments. Once their role is over, they leave. That’s just life. Then we meet new people, new lessons.

If you’re fortunate, you’ll find companions who strive to grow in awareness alongside you. They’ll accept your differences and support you without expectation, pressure, or attachment.

Good or bad is just a matter of perspective at a given moment. The ones who truly deserve your appreciation are those who persevere in nurturing the bond with you.

So, learn to value every connection. It’s through these relationships that you’ll grow and advance on your journey of self-discovery and consciousness.

Be patient, steadfast, and calm.
